About VONG
Vanguard Russell 1000 Growth ETF is a U.S. large-cap growth exchange-traded fund. It is designed to provide broad exposure to growth-oriented companies by seeking to track the Russell 1000 Growth Index, which measures the performance of large-cap stocks in the United States with higher price-to-book ratios and stronger forecasted and historical growth characteristics. The fund uses a passive, full-replication approach, investing substantially all of its assets in the index constituents and holding each stock in roughly the same proportion as its index weighting. Today, Vanguard Russell 1000 Growth ETF offers diversified sector exposure with a pronounced tilt toward information technology and other growth-heavy industries, giving investors access to many of the largest and most influential public companies in the U.S. equity market. Launched in 2010 and domiciled in the United States, the ETF plays a significant role as a core growth building block within the broader U.S. equity landscape.
