About QLD
ProShares Ultra QQQ is a leveraged exchange-traded fund designed to deliver twice the daily performance of the Nasdaq-100 Index before fees and expenses. Managed by ProShares, it uses financial instruments such as swaps and other derivatives to create magnified exposure to 100 of the largest non-financial companies listed on Nasdaq, with a portfolio that is typically concentrated in technology, communication services, and consumer discretionary businesses. The fund is used by market participants seeking short-term, daily leveraged exposure to a broad group of growth-oriented U.S. companies through a single ticker. ProShares Ultra QQQ also offers features commonly associated with exchange-traded funds, including intraday trading, options availability, and quarterly distributions.
