About HYS
PIMCO 0-5 Year High Yield Corporate Bond Index Exchange-Traded Fund is a fixed income ETF designed to provide exposure to short-maturity U.S. high-yield corporate bonds. The fund seeks to track the ICE BofA 0-5 Year U.S. High Yield Constrained Index by investing primarily in below-investment-grade corporate debt securities with remaining maturities of less than five years. Its portfolio is built to represent the short end of the high-yield market, where shorter maturities generally reduce interest-rate sensitivity compared with longer-dated high-yield bonds. Managed by PIMCO, the fund serves investors looking for diversified access to high-yield credit across sectors such as communications, energy, healthcare, and industrials. It is commonly used as a core portfolio tool for income-oriented fixed income exposure within the corporate bond market.
